Im stumped on the pic tho.....I cant find anything very rare....
Its gotta be whatever the guy on the left has coiled around his tunic and is messing with. The gun just looks like a normal MPi 40......

I at first thought they were buttons? But could it be he is wearing a parade lanyard of some form that is sewn onto the tunic and if I am correct on this it,s been sewn onto the wrong side.

They are buttons, but it's not a parade tunic. Oh and by the way, it's not Kreta, but Italy, though a very famous place in FJ history.

It's very rare FJ tropical tunic with built in bandoleer (unfortunately the only info I can find is on the 'maroon' forum!)

From what I can find there appears to be some debate on whether the tunic is unique to FJ, whether it is a modification, whether it was used in North Africa, etc, etc. One of those pieces that asks more questions than gives answers!
As long as Bond has no objections and my answer is correct I will post the next offering
