Looks like C-47s. Is it a training jump?
They seem to be flying really low, do they usually fly that low?

I think it shows the first Allied airborne operation of the Pacific and is the 503d Parachute Infantry Regiment jumping at Nadzab , PNG
Well they're definately Dakotas and judging by the height of the jump ,about 800-1000 feet, theres also a couple of Daks with their wheels down for some reason, im thinking its a pre D-day jump as their are no black or white invasion stripes
Landing at Nadzab - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think it shows the same picture, just reversed - Now that really would have confused Stuka f!
