Both of you are correct. Ade gave the name I was after, but I'll leave it up to the two of you to decide who goes next.

The V-3 was known as the vengeance weapon and was specifically designed to hit London. It could fire a 140kg shell to a range of 165km. To achieve this the 140m barrel had side channels filled with propelling charges that were timed to fire and help increase the velocity of the shell to 1500mps. Hilter was so impressed with this weapon that he ordered 25 to be built, but the project was abandoned due to bombing of the area (Mimoyecques, France) by the Allies.

Oh yes that's right it was for the V-3, i could not come up with the name for the system itself!

I would imagine some sort of sneaky sneaky mission since the "Germans" have weapons on them, are they Greek, maybe part of SOE?(Looks like one of the guys has paratrooper wings on his uniform) Looks like the guy on the far right is carrying an UD42.
