Guess the picture quiz!

A bit interesting the first image,the Stug Officer to the right is wearing a ribbon for the Osten medal and has a M43 field cap on his head.I would asume the photo was taken at least mid 1942.I believe Becker was promoted from Untersturmfuhrer to Obersturmführer in Jan.1938.This makes the rank of the Totenkopf officer in the image a bit of a mystery if it is indeed Becker.

I knew this may be a little controversial, but that does make it a little more interesting I feel!!
I did study some pictures of Becker before I posted and IMO I feel it’s him in the first picture, the shape of his nose and the profile of his mouth/chin area I feel match the later picture.

FYI,
One thing is certain about him and that is that he probably is an old member of the SS-TV, much because of the collartab, it´s clear that he uses an old version of it, you can see how far back the skull on the collartab is placed, which would indicate that there used to be a numer or a letter below the skull.
That was only used by the SS-TV before the war.

Just finished reading an excellent account of the Siege of Tobruk and previous to that an account of the Battles of Monte Cassino. I had some really nice Polish MC veteran’s last possessions/medals/everything until recently when I was forced to let them go due to this silly financial farce we have got ourselves into.
I think I know who the young officer is
