    Sadly the front never reached that far as Paul wrote. However there could be some other finds to be made, maybe. I did not bring my detector but will next time.

    Sure is. A few winters back a railroad worker got killed and partly eaten by wolves. It was a hard winter. The same happened to the family dog. They normally don't come close to houses, roads and railroads, but if they are hungry they will. I like wolves

    Me too , we saw two in the forest in Estonia a couple of years ago as we were digging out an MG position , they came up to about 50 metres away , never seen them that close before !!
