Red Dragon patch if circa WWII is a ACF patch which fits with these being student items, probably Glamorgan CCF or one of the other welsh county cadet forces. They are not an area I have much info on and I know of no good books on the subject.

I have thought of branching out into that area but there are keen collectors of such items.

    A nice pick up Kris.

Hey Jerry, I knew I could count on you!

The students cap is dated early 1950 th's. And did you notice that the two badges (one lose and one on the cap!) could face one a other...!?
    Anyway thanks for your help.

They would make a pair worn at the top of the sleeves on the BD blouse Kris. Cool that you have the pair.
