How to repair the butyl rubber on an ABC-M17 gas mask

@meyle77 you said you used that adhesive. Did you have to repair a gas mask as well? if so which gas mask? if you don't mind me asking

I fixed german civilian vm gasmask that i sold - yes i did mention the repair - will try to find photos.
There is also sika flex urethane that will work - it is used to fix rubber weatherstriping on cars.

did the adhesive discolor the mask any? Do you have any pictures? I just wanna make sure I wont ruin my mask

no, it didn't - it is black - will look for them over the weekend

I ordered it last week and it finally got here. I have the Sika Titan p2g. Do i use a special tool to apply it? Please let me know you've been a great help.
