Hundreds of Arctic Convoy veterans are to receive a Russian bravery medal
The government has decided to let the veterans wear the Ushakov Medal after previously saying it broke rules in foreign decorations, because veterans had already received a UK medal for their service.
But an exception has been made and President Putin awarded the first of those medals earlier this week

As mentioned, very late but finally good to see recognition for these brave souls who endured things many of us prefer not to think about.
