Hey Eric here are the photos i promised you, the story on the axehead is that my great great grandfather found it in new york in the late 1800's.

kid out in Wyoming / Montana.
My grandfather took me to a few POW WOWs.
He knew the language and would sit around talking
to all the old warriors.

Hi Ryan. Great grooved axe, from the archaic period I would say.
In the first pic it looks like a dovetail spear point repurposed into a knife.
I will show the pics to my friend in the next few days and find out more for ya.
