    Mine would have to be, on a "technicality" because I was given them at the same time, my late grandfathers ID tags, cap badge and "medical grade card"

    Very well put Glenn, it's interesting to think of what that badge saw, and you're right, it's a great symbol of the rise and fall of the fortunes of the Third Reich.

    The item that i would never give away is the ike jacket in the middle. It belonged to my great uncle and it is my most sedimentally prized item in my collection.

    1" 'Aircraft Production' factory workers badge that was my fathers.

    He built wing assemblies from wood for the DeHavilland Mosquito
    and Avro Anson at Massey-Harris in Toronto during WWII.

    A couple more that I found for next to nothing.........

    SSVT button - unmarked late war - $8.00 (+tax)

    WWI Canadian 60th and 87th Battalion reunion pins from 1936
    by 'Birks' jewellers - $2.50 each (saw one on Ebay sell for $80.)
    1/2" wide - screwbacks.
