    That is a great find.
    Now I understand the German and also and American dog tag being found,
    But why would a Stalag XII dogtag have been in the pile??

    I wasn't aware of this either. It would be nifty as can be to have that in your back yard. Better than growing tomatoes.

    A couple of years old yes. He also appeared on the One Show with some of the finds. Some good stuff coming out the ground and a lucky guy. We did offer to help with the relic recovery,(RRPG), but never got a reply to our offer of experienced diggers.

    Interesting supplementary info, Steve. How odd, that he didnt at least reply. I'd have thought one would jump at the oppertunity for some qualified 'hands on deck.'
