    I was watching the local news yesterday and this came up, to my surprize i never knew that one of these brave men was so local to where i live i also noticed one came from Manchester, they have finally put up this memorial to the very brave guys i will go over and take some photos and post them up here, i couldnt get over how far they actually had rowed before they got to there targets, brave guys indeed, more info on the link below

    I worked with Bill Sparks in the 80's. He never spoke about his escapades. A true Gent
