If you are from the U.S. they want a scanned copy of your drivers license. I've never been asked that before and I'm not going to make identity theft any easier.

So my answer is NO. It's not ok to have a scanned copy of my DL floating around the web..

Thanks man, It feels really suspicious that they want information like that about us before we even have created an account.

I agree but think that they have been burned before and are probably taking extra steps to secure purchases. But at the same time it adds more risk for you and I. Of course I was only told of the things they needed after I filled out all of the info. Name, address. email etc..
