I know, Todd. My response was a joke too. These fora are horrible when it comes to getting the correct message across. Very easy to misinterpret another's comments.
Jeez, I thought this thread was well dead and buried.
I have well and truly moved on I have to say but I did gain no small measure of satisfaction when Kai got busted with his fake 'hoard find SS tuxedo badge' mega sale a year or two ago.
I only had one dealing with this individual. He listed a double breasted NSDAP Ortsgruppenleiter tunic. When I received it, the only genuine parts were the buttons and the armband. The tunic was recently made with reproduction collar tabs. I returned it and he charged me his credit card fee and I got stuck with the postage and a loss on Dollar/Euro rate. I had requested a receipt at the time of purchase, which he never furnished. Without the receipt, my credit card company could not do anything about the fee he charged me. Such business practices told me he was one to avoid.

Dear collectors let me share a word/picture of wisdom regarding these bad dealers. I made this pic in a hurry so you all can place it on your screen saver...

There are some very good dealers with ethics and integrity out there, so I'd change the wording to "bad" militaria dealers. Just my $0.02 but I know the point your making and agree.
