Yeah. Happy Veteran's Day!
WW2 Vets ,,just stops my heart when I see them as there are but a handful left. Incredible History!! All vets regardless for stopping their life and serving their country.

It still amazes me that veterans from ww2 and other old war survived the horrible attacks and such, and went through everything. They deserve their own holiday. Late but Happy Veterans Day!
we have now lost all the ww1 vets and we are fast running out of ww2 battle of britain pilots and army and navy guys and of course the bomber boys!.I remember once getting a call to a man on the pavement,he was a regular call[1-2 a week] we took him and his little dog home,in his living room was a photo of him in a hurricane.moral of the story is treat the olders with respect, you dont know what they were in the past.
I feel that my life has been greatly enriched by being able to meet so many of them throughout my life...German and Allied. They are a generation of heroes and I have no regrets having chosen these men to be my role models as a youngster...just my 2 cents worth, Glenn
Heroes indeed. There are no WWII Veterans in my family anymore, and I so
wish that I knew what they did in 'their' war. I was just a kid when 2 close
family members in the military passed - two uncles and a godfather
were in WWII - I've never really known them and exactly what
their roles were in the war.........

Steve.
