old Belgium button

    We did had a Belgian military contingent, the "Auto-Canons-Mitrailleuses" who faught the Germans along with the Russian in Russia in 1917.
    Here is a pic of som of them, the "Auto-canon -mitrailleur" is a Minerva ( Antwerp built car!!).

    About the button; did you switched accidently the picture or is thise realy what you see on that button?
    Because the figure is stnading in the wrong direction! The lion should face the right side.
    Not sure it realy is a button..

    There will be still opinions concerning accessory of this button? Can be eat the catalog on the Belgian uniform? Probably that this button belonged to whom that of "Auto-Canons-Mitrailleuses"
