Shooting. When I am home in the States I enjoy various shooting sports. It keys in somewhat with my military small arms collecting, but I have a number of modern weapons I shoot. I enjoy combat handgun primarily. When I was in the Army, I shot on the Army Pistol Team 8 years at the Nationals, but I don't do precision pistol anymore.
Here in Germany I sometimes go with my brother in law to the local club and shoot indoor air rifle.
I trained 3 years in a martial art called To-Shin-Do and will pick it up again back home. I now study Tai-Chi.
I too believe that one should expand ones interests beyond just militaria.
Life was meant to be so much FUN!
