Nine years ago (wow has it been that long already) I posted in this thread that I
worked building race trailers, haulers and the such. Well, today I was doing some
dusting and decided it was time to update some photos.

I've been working on race trailers and trucks for over 31 years now. I try to collect
a small scale diecast car from the team that I have done work for. This is not always easy
as some of these teams only offered a limited number of cars. In fact just yesterday I found
a diecast Top Alcohol Funny car from a trailer that I helped build back in the early 90s.

I have a personal connection to everyone of these cars, whether it be from building something
    for them or just repairs.

    Drag cars and Monster Truck

This represents only about 1/4 of the race teams I have worked for. Most were
small time, lesser known teams that could not afford to spend the money on
marketing a toy version of their car.

Show cars and Indy car and American LeMans ---(note ZZ Top's 34 Ford "Eliminator"
and "Cadzilla" and also the Batmobile)

The company I work for ( and have for 3 decades ) used to run a TRANS-AM team and got their own Johnny Lightning toy produced.

So naturally I HAD to have one.......

    Cheers, Dan

    Very cool
I did some drag racing in the 1970s'-80s. Have not staged a car sense
    about 1986 or so.

A while ago I mentioned I enjoyed repairing old radios and game systems, etc. Well, I decided to finally post a picture of my pride and joy of old electronics.
It's a 1977 Solid State Colour TV shipped by The Hudson Bay Company, fully working and great for watching M*A*S*H on and playing Pong. IMG_0319.jpg
