I have collected militaria for most of my life, so I don't think of it as a hobby any longer, it is just part of life. My other hobby, actually a passion is making pocket and some fixed blade knives the old way with hand tools only. Then of course there is also shooting muzzleloading rifles and collecting antique mathematical instruments.

Some beautiful and intricate work there Wolfgang. They look inspired by The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Beautiful examples you have chosen to share with us here Wolfgang!
I have been wondering when you would post some of your fantastic work here. Please do post some more.
@ Adrian, Wolfgang has been making these for a long time before the trilogy movies were been released.

Mind if I join the German car group? I have owned several vintage Porsche 914's since having bought my first one in January 1998. It was a white 1974 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. A little while later I picked up a yellow '74 mainly I was planning on building into a dedicated autocross racer. When my original car developed a severe case of terminal rust, common to early Porsches, I bought my current ride, a 1972 Bahia Red 1.8 liter.
I had the engine in this car replaced with the 2.2 liter. The '72's paint was completely dead, so I had it stripped to bare metal and repainted Jaguar Racing Green. This was the perfect time to have a set of steel GT flares added. This is how the car looked when I bought it:

    Welcome to the Porsche Club

I would love to own a 914 Porsche, but the prices are going up like hell
I spend this year a lot of money into my Porsche. My red lady got a new
spoiler in Carrera RS Style and Bilstein Sport shockers for better handling, the
engine was optimiced by a porsche specialist for better performance

Here is pic of my Porsche

I collect Titanic related items. Shown here are a variety of Titanic commemorative items and items related to the sister ship, Olympic. They include floor tiles of the type used on Titanic (from Olympic) Olympic stationary, 1912 commemorative books, magazines sheet music and postcards. Also a gramophone record with songs about the disaster, and officers buttons of the type used on Titanic.

    Interesting memorabilia. Nice collection.
How do you feel about the scavenging from the wreck?
Might be a curious thing to say on a relic forum, but personally NOT a fan.
I bet Ballard wished, that he'd been able to keep the position secret - surely he never envisioned this.
