The Pile I bought this weekend
Here are photos of the still unsorted pile of Military stuff I bought this weekend, all of the boxes were full of insignia, lots of WW2 Medical Bandages ect, as well as a couple of Uniforms, the 2 radios I bought are shown in other threads.

Great pile !
Is the mess kit British or CDN ?
I have one British and one CDN in my collections. My CDN example has both large and small stamped with C-Broad Arrows, which is not common.

This one is British Marked, the inner tin is 1941 the larger is 1943.

It looks to be a good and somewhat diverse haul Dean. Are those some SD caps toward the rear in the first pic behind the blue caps?
Regards,
Jerry
Whatever
its just an opinion.
-
Jerry, there is one SD cap, Medical Officers and it goes with the Uniform.

Thats my kinda haul! Do you have anymore information on the wooden thing which I am guessing is a propeller boss cut down and mounted? I can read "Crashed Jan. 3rd 1918 Ben???? Texas" on the bottom tag. Cheers.
-
That is the prop boss, That Training area in Texas was used by the RFC and many Canadian Pilots did some of their training there, there is another alum. tag on the top that names the Pilot and A/C number
