While checkin my Facebook, I spotted a very curious coin. Someone claimed to have suddendly found a coin at the backyard o' his house, it portraits I. V. Stalin and brings Latin inscriptions, which leads me to believe that it was issued in Baltic states, apparently Letonia. It brings J. V. G. Stalin
The most strange thing is this "G."(Generalissimus?). Look:

What do you know about this coin? How much dollars is it worth?

It's not a coin per see, rather some sort of medallion. West Eastern Europe no doubt. Some sort of rememberance of the tyrant's death.
Doubt it's worth a great deal.
    What's the reverse look like?

Tyrant??? Many people perceive it in a different way.
I just have this pic. Judging by the date, I presume that it was issued between 1953 and 1956. After 56, USSR even removed Stalin from films.
How much would it cost in a country where Brazil, where is kind of material is not usual? Something around 20 dollars?

Ok, I am from Baltic states but I canĀ“t understand your logics - why do you think this shitty piece may have some relation to Baltics? Why not Brazil - for example

Because in Brazil they threw communists in jail during the 50's. Between 1964 and 1985 you could face even worse situations if you were caught with that, specially the "pau de arara" torture.
My logic is that Baltic countries use Latin alphabet, something easely spotted at the Baltic countries coat of arms.
