    Famous picture of the mortar team Arnhem

    Sgt Willets Parachute Regiment George Cross winner N.Ireland. Threw himself on a bomb saving the lives of women and children stood close by.


    SAS Patrol. I have posted this picture before I think it is a great image.

    One thing about the Arnhem shot is look at the angle of the Tube , the Germans were very close by !!

    Without giving specifications as to what you had in mind, the subject matter was open to interpretation. They are all combat vets, some just didnt survive engagement with the enemy!

    Captain Robert Nairac Tortured and murdered by the IRA. His will did not break and he told his captors nothing. Awarded the George Cross
