A very nice story, and thought-provoking. I often wonder if some of the items I have were worn in such places, unfortunately none of them have spoken like that to me. But still, one wonders.

It never hurts to romance about your items. Many, especially so bullet riddled relics, are tragic echoes from the struggle.

Hi AMTG,
The story is thought provoking you should finish it, i actually collect battlefield relic helmets from across europe,
my reason is that they all tell there own story. After researching the battles and holding the objects you can only imagine what it was really like, Combat is harsh today but then it was on a different scale. I have attached a pic of some of my relics to show, one including my Stalingrad relic. hope you like them.

Actully I had an out of body experience when I was a freshman in high school.
I was being held captive by a giant vagina. It was warm, moist, brown hair, a vauge familiar smell. I was eating a very weired weedy strange tasting salad.
Then I realized I had been running in my grandfathers pasture, tripped and had my head stuck in a cows butt.
