Yes Adam, I have bought from them before and they are crooks. Ryton are good however.

Ryton Arms gets a big tick in the box from me too, the deactivation work done on the weapons themselves is absolutely perfect.
Thanks
Danny

Hi, and welcome to the forum!
I am not sure where your customer has got that from? I would suggest he is mistaken. If I had read that I would have instantly corrected such a statement. If you search your name here, you will only read good things! I personally have had many many dealings with you (and the late Tony Budge) and have recommended Ryton here several times in the past.
Cheers, Ade.

The late Tony Budge did me a great favour around 1994. I had a Maxim Mg08 on a trench mount which had been given to me by the regimental museum which used to be based here in Warrington. The Police got wind of it and claimed I might use it to shoot down a Jumbo Jet - even though the lock was missing and I had slotted the barrel. The gun was removed from my property and placed in a cell at Chester Police Headquarters. I contacted Tony Budge at Ryton and asked for his help. He kindly aggreed to drive up to Chester and pick up the gun, take it back and deactivate it and post it back to me. The cost of this excellent service? A mere £65. How many dealers do you know that would be prepared to do that?
