This is a very interesting topic and thanks for bringing it up Jerry.
When it comes to buying German militaria I try to buy it for Europe as often the prices are a lot cheaper compared to British websites.

I've been buying smaller items such as photos and award documents in order to complete a few groupings that I've got going...but the only high-end item I'm interested in is a Ritterkreuz...Overall I'm quite pleased where I'm at now with this (3rd) collection...I've gotten more patient with age, and I've learned that I don't have to have it all! Indeed In UK they are more expensive, but i find German items from the US to be much more cheaper. Usually something in Europe that costs 100 euro in the US it's $100.
