Thought I'd take the opportunity to share this with you. Fortunately no-one was injured - just the pride of the pilot. But with a downdraft...and that close to the ground...something had to give.
Those fences seem to be rather sturdy.

Just a foot and he would have cleared... To bad for the plane, and him, glad he wasn't hurt. I am also sure the plane will see the sky again!

OUCH! Fortunately it looks as though the aircraft was not to heavily damaged, with the help of a few thousand pounds /hours work, this one will hopefully be flying again. Leon.
