I know its a long shot ,I've posted on medal forums etc and came across your forum , if anybody hears or is offered a group of medals belonging to (details below) , they were stolen when his house was broken into a few months ago now , so I'm hoping they might surface at some point soon, any info would be brilliant , no doubt the morons that stole them probably won't even know what they have . The medals are as follows:

    Lt. R.M.Harms MC
    Korean UK Forces Medal
    United Nations Medal
    GSM--Arabian Peninsular 1958/60
    United Nations Cyprus 1967
    GSM--Northern Ireland 1977
    MC--Korea 1952/53 - Inscribed -Lt.R.M. Harms.D.W.R

    Cheers

You should also have a word with any known medal dealers in the area as most will be sympathetic.

I had a German helmet stolen once but managed to get it back thanks to the local "jungle drums"

I wish you good luck in this matter and hope that they will be returned to their rightfull owner.
