    Default A Suggestion: Freikorps/Weimar-Era Category 1919-1933

    Good Morning from Seattle,
Has the Forum Administration considered adding a category to cover the historical events and militaria of the Freikorps/Weimar-Era? It seems that this historically significant 15 year period is buried & obscured within the Imperial Section...This includes the German Revolution, the various Freikorps, Stahlhelmbund, Ruhr-Occupation, the 100,000 Man Reichswehr, etc etc...
The Forum does well in covering the resulting fruits, but there's a gap that neglects the roots of the era...In the hopes of bringing about a clearer understanding of the events, personalities & memorabilia we find ourselves fascinated with...
A suggestion to consider for the new year, perhaps?...
    cheers, Glenn

I see that we separately cover the Postwar Allies, White Russian, Polish, Estonian, etc...But the German items are lumped together & buried in the Imperial Section, hence my suggestion...

    Hello Everybody!
Thank you Lebus12 for show me this post!

It's true I always "love" the Freikorps and Der stahlhelmbund!
Very hard to find some nice items like here!
If I remember the dead skull were used by a lot of FK!
But only two wear on the cap!
The "Eisernen Division" and "Werewolf Freikorps"!

Thank you Glenn for this beautiful post!
    Best regards

Thanks Friends, I appreciate your input and shared enthusiasm for this historically significant era...The photo is indeed Eiserne Division, I have another Eiserne Division Totenkopf-Pin here you may or may not have seen before, along with a Freikorps von Randow Cross...
    cheers, Glenn

While I don't collect Freikorp items, I do find that time period
    very interesting.

    Good idea.

Speaking of Freikorps Eiserne Division (Iron Division) material, I'm on the look-out for this particular book...
    cheers, Glenn
