I have bought severalitems from Karl and he is great on prices and is a straight shooter. Best way to contact him is through calling.

these comments all match what i have heard over the years.

in the relatively distant pass, i have spoken with him on the phone, but i have not yet bought from him.

however, he offers (from all that i have seen) good and honest pieces in an area which is an absolute minefield for collectors and i think that trumps slow response times which i myself have not experienced.

when you get right down to it, i'll take the knowledge to offer what can be relied on over speed at handling e-mails on occasion (a thing with him i have not experienced myself).

I have bought from him with no problems, dont bother emailing him just call him, he always called me back and is a friendly guy, some stuff on his site does get sold without being marked as sold but I think he is a one man crew and does it in his spare time.

I try again to buy one piece on the site, 3 years ago he don't email me, so today I ask to a friend to call him.
It's the only US dealer like this!

Keep trying to call him, he will answer at some point. Again I have never had trouble with Karl other than trying to get it touch with him. Marty

I emailed Karl over a month ago about two items I wanted to buy, in fact, I emailed him at both of the email addresses he has on his site but I have still not heard a word from him. I guess I should have called him... I have only heard good things about him but I didn't know he doesn't like email.

One friend from WRF is trying to call him since two days, nobody...

He lives fairly close to me, and we've made some deals at a few auctions before. He has great prices, but I have also had some issues with trying to get ahold of him via email.
