It is the Welsh national flag, rather than the insignia of the 38th Welsh division and my avatar is the South Wales district headquarters formation patch.

That's a bloody good looking flag Jerry, I'm sure I'm not alone on that mate, I reckon plenty would agree. Some national flags just stand out, I like the Canadian maple leaf too and the new South African flag.
