Not sure if this is the best sub-forum for this. I thought there was a media section but I was thinking of another large forum that has one.

Anyway, I just ordered this DVD a couple days ago as the movie sounds very intriguing.

Looking forward to the arrival of the DVD and I already alerted one local collector friend that we may have to get together for a "watch party".

Looks very fascinating Todd. The images of him as a soldier are so clear and evocative. I look forward to seeing this.

I read a book called Too Young to be a Hero by Rick Holz about his experiences growing up in Nazi Germany and then fighting with the Wehrmacht - it’s a sad but inspirational story if you get a chance. He ended up coming here to Australia to live following the end of WW2.

I watched it last night with my wife and we both really enjoyed it.

Don't expect it to play like a Hollywood blockbuster, but it is a great story with some powerful messages.

    Look forward seeing that one!
I can recommend if you have not seen this one already: Charite at War
    It is on Netflix.
Story is about a hospital in Germany during the war!
I just finished it and liked it.

Thanks for the recommendation but unfortunately we don't have Netflix.
