Unknown UK dealer?

Good Morning,

I was looking to sell a few items at a local, established auction house recently. I left the items to be evaluated and was told that the "consultant/specialist" (their words) they used to view them (via photographs) was someone called "Mike McIntosh" (or "Mackintosh" possibly) based in Manchester.

I was just wondering if any UK people here have heard of this dealer? Just nothing come back on a internet search...

I'm starting to suspect the bloke at the auction house has fobbed me off as he was reluctant to give me the name for some reason.

As I work in the trade myself, I can tell you that most auction houses will employ a specialist on a part time basis, or use a full time member of staff who might have a bit of knowledge about the subject.

Never heard of this chap.
