At the risk of being a geek, that's not Han Solo's gun. He had a BlasTech Industries DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol.

It bears a remarkable resemblance to the Mauser C96 pistol but as Star Wars is a historical documentary series from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... we can only assume that the Germans and Mauser copied their pistol design from the original DL-44 design.

Didn't I hear somewhere that you once owned and wore a Star Wars Storm Troopers outfit and used to cut about in it in the privacy of your own home......Or as you liked to call it, the Death Star?

    C'mon, photo's!

    Regards, Jabba.

It was used in many scenes, not just on Hoth. The Sandtroopers on Tatooine carried them as well as the T-21 light repeating blaster based on the WW1 Lewis gun.

Not Han Solo... But rather, " Hans Olo" ...lol.
    But that's a great toy.
Also, I always saw the similarities of Star Wars and TR. the uniforms, m43 style caps, storm troopers ..and so on.

I thought I was bad for being a member of the Mickey Mouse Club 200 years ago(Yes, I had the ears as well..), but I'm proud to say, it pales in comparison to the somewhat numerous gabble of geeks Here....
