I don't have any Khosa as that is the language in the South Eastern part of SA. If you have any German or Dutch then Afrikaans would be fairly easy to master. Any Flemish and you would virtually be there already.

As for living here - I wouldn't move for all the tea in China!

so i speak english as you can see

german - wie geht es euch

can understand some japanise but not write

finnish - mitä kuuluu

and some bits of some other langages as well

I speak German as I lived in Vienna for 16 years... (übrigens, es ist mir plötzlich eingefallen that even though I'm English, I can also talk Australian... g'day mate, bonza barbie this arvo... we going down the pub this evo with the Sheilas for a few tinnies or what!) and I keep starting to learn some French and Italian... so I have a little knowledge of both with a big emphasis on 'little'!

i speak English, Turkish and just a little bit German and French

And living in Belgium;
- working with Polish people makes you understand it a bit, I do buy from eBay Poland from time to time; and sale as well!
- being married (ex-wife ) to a half Hungarian girl makes you understand Hungarian.
- and my actual wife being a teacher and teaching in the centre of Antwerp to mainly Turkish and Marocan children, gives you some advantages in that language also.
