If you could have in your possession any piece of militaria on Earth, what would it be? This is the item that you dream to have, but will probably never be able to own. It can be any piece from any period in history, as long as the piece is still in existence today (museum, private collection, etc..) I know it is hard to pick only one, but try to narrow the list down. Have fun!

    Rules of the Thread:

    1. Item has to still be in existence today
    2. Item has to be Militaria related

PS: Make sure you post pictures!

    UPDATE...................................... .......................... ........................................

RULE 3: PLEASE ONLY POST ITEMS THAT ARE REAL, NOT ITEMS THAT YOU WISH WERE REAL!!!!! and preferably with photos. ARGGG, THANKS!

I just want a single decal SS M42- an EF68. It will have a crisp snow camo finish that has turned a delicate shade of yellow. It will have a nice, full-length RBnr'ed chinstrap. It is named to SS-Sturmmann Krieger. It will have a nice, but somewhat faded dome stamp. The liner is somewhat worn, but complete.

The day that I find this helmet will be the day that I will stop collecting.

The "haunted" FJ helmet. Surely someone remembers the thread of the FJ helmet with the bullet hole, bloodied liner and hair stuck on the liner? Cant find the thread, but it sure is real, and it is somewhere in this world.
