What's your newest Militaria purchase?

Article about: Hi guys, forgive me if this is already mentioned elsewhere but, if not? I was wondering what your newest militaria purchase was. Mine include a nice General Assault Badge, another War Merit

Here is my latest, and it is one that I am exceptionally pleased with.

34MM cap star cockarde - However, this one is Latvian made and is of extremely high quality as opposed to the normal Russian made pieces.

I can not find any reference, in any language that concerns it. Even my Russian cap star collector associates are without words...

    Nice cap badge at that.

Also, someone here did give me some good luck, I just got a grouping of four award docs for the same man. They are: EKII, Frozen Meat Medal, KvK 2nd cl w/ swords, and black wound badge. Also comes with a group photo that has the recipient in it as well as his Silver Infantry Assault Badge, EKII, BWB and KvK 2and cl w/ swords.

The silver IAB is a hollowback zinker and unmarked but made by B.H.Meyer. I don't think any of the other badges are marked or not?

Nice patches, cap badges and lids. I have been wanting to get a nice wartime Russian lid for quite sometime now.
