where are the best places to visit in berlin?

my and the wife are visiting berlin for the third time in september anywhere i should check out ? be it ww1/2 or ddr period

Have a look in the 'After the Battle' forum, there have been a few threads recently about Berlin. NunoGTI has posted one and I've posted three. Do a search there for 'Berlin' and I'm sure you'll find plenty of ideas. I would suggest making your own itinery of the places you want to see and go see them independently as opposed to taking a tour. Much more fun and you can look round the places at leisure.

I would recommend the following two guide books for your trip they give some great ideas of where to go and what to see.

Berlin - Battlefield guide - Tony le Tissier,

Berlin - 1933-1945 Past finder - Maik Kopleck

Both available on Amazon.

Its a great city keep your eyes open and its amazing what you will find.
