    How does the ELCAN work for you?
    I hate it and replaced mine with an Aimpoint red dot and Aimpoint 3x magnifier each tour to Afghanistan.

    The ELCAN s*c*s like an Electrolux!!!
    Aimpoint is incredibly fast.
    The desert ate my Aimpoint 3x magnifier though. Sand of the concistency of flour made its way in and fogged up the lenses.
    I was surprised, as it has no external controls like the Aimpoint red dot.
    Aimpoint replaced it right away, as they had had some problems with a sub-contractor.
    Very pleased - gotta like a company, that replaces in an instant without problems.
