I would like to have an Armenian cognac with W. Churchill, I have a million question to ask the guy and some slivovica with Tito. Then I would get back to Stalin and had a really long conversation for another million questions. But if there was a chance to have a chnapps I would tell Hitler first 'Don't be stupid, don't repeat the mistakes, get real-learn the history'.

Personally, my choice would be Reinhard Heydrich. I'd probably end up having a few too many beers and trying to seduce him, which in turn would probably get me shot *facepalm*

Welcome to the forum Coleo, that's quite an introduction you have just made...

I could sit there and write an essay on what I would ask, talk about, etc. Realistically, I can only be honest. I'm not a fangirl, nor do I have any apologist views on the 3rd Reich, but my husband is the spitting image of Heydrich (eerily so) and I can't lie, I would probably just gaze at him.

I'm pretty sure that's not healthy or normal but alas

On a realistic note, I genuinely do find the mans life fascinating. It would be historical fascination.

    [/self justifying speech]

Thanks for the welcome. I am normal, don't worry.

    My Father.
Because nobody said anything about what he did or were he fought.
Even he would not acknowledge anything about WW2.
Maybe now that I am older he would talk about it.
    Cheers.

Of the ww2 "personalities" , I think Pappy Boyington would be fun to sit and have
a few drinks with. I'm sure he would have some tall tales to share.

Wow, never saw this thread. There are many "personalities" that are interesting, but I would like to like to buy a round for the Rangers that scaled the cliffs on D-Day. Did they deserve it or what!
