I watched this on Youtube tonight and thank god i didn't buy it, the biggest load of boll*cks i've seen in my life and the first time i've heard an ss officer with a New Zealand accent!.
I reckon it must have had a budget of about a hundred quid!...
I have not seen anyone mention "Deathwatch" It was
kind of like the Keep only in ww1 trenches.
I thought the sets and trenches and kit all looked
really good. It's just that the story and acting sucked.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
I'm sorry, but why the hate on The Pacific? I thought it was a great miniseries and non-biased, that 99% of war movies tend to be.
The Pacific was re written by OCPA-West for economic support which would aided HBO, Which cut multiple aspects which were in originally written by Stephen and Hugh Ambrose.
But we all have different opinions don't we.
Is it not ok that we have different views on the Pacific?
This was my first war movie and I liked it. (I was 18)
It might not be as entertaining as other War movies, but interns of historical background of both countries' perspective are consider detailed. The Japanese language was very accurate.
They used a lot of real planes instead of CG graphics. I especially like the night carrier launching scene.
However the scene that made me unforgettable is the one with the Zero got hit by a MG and the pilot plunging it to a hanger. That is very accurate. I learned lots from this movie.
This is just my opinion.

Taka
