Found this artical on the inet. It does not have any pictures of the weapons or the heavy equipment yet but makes the mind wander.

No mention of the weapons being WW2 vintage that I could find, perhaps a modern day terrorist cell cache?

Well it does say that hes contravened German WAR weapons laws, which could suggest that he had amassed ww2 items

Hello-war weapons would include military munitions like grenades, rocket launchers, MGs etc of any vintage-would think it more likely to be ex Warsaw pact stuff from the vast stocks pretty much abandoned after the fall of the Wall in various Eastern European countries.
