Re: Enamel repair?
If you have decided to attempt a restoration, then absolutely do the proper searching and find a Professional enamel restorationist- someone who is familiar and experienced with working on such things. I've actually seen some pieces that did look fairly decent, but just who did the work or what it cost, I have no clue. I would not trust your average run of the mill jeweler to do the work. Matching the tint and appearance will be an extremely delicate procedure.

Re: Enamel repair?
There may be some restorers who would do the work but advise to remove all the enamel and replace with new in order to obtain a good match, because they know that to just re-do one small section would be extremely difficult and may take several trys, this in itself would not be cost effective
