Oh, didn't know. Sorry. Well you could always try on liner and cover only, if you want to get the liner out. Figured the shell was a bit in too good shape, but thought it was for fun.

You could always try with a cheap fake lid or something.

No worries mate.....I have a repro helmet buried in the backyard of my house, which we are currently renting out,it gunna be the for 18 months,mso should be good to see how it turns out!!!!!

The shell of the helmet with the cover is real, the most I do with it is repaint it....

Yes a SS helmet from the little known SS "Australien Frei Korps"...carried out parachute operations inside Australia, and took part in the "Kampf der Melbourne" where the whole unit was wiped out doing a hook turn in front of a tram....their sleeve eagle was a kangaroo rogering an English lion....true story
