Re: Heer M42 helmet project
Great now youve got it, judging by the try out, i presume your not using a sieve as there are some heavier deposits and lighter ones, i find the best type to use are the wire mesh strainers used for cooking and draining but you have to make sure the grains will pass through easily but steadily cant wait to see the results

I imported it from the U.K from a guy called Jim Jaques he paints helmets and sells all the materials, Liners, chinstraps, RAL Spec paints he's got it all, you can find him on e-bay.
Do you know his name on Ebay? I am having a hard time trying to find him.

RE: above pics the A/OX didn't adhere everywhere using the Matt clearcoat, so i switched to a gloss which seemed "stickier"

Re: Heer M42 helmet project
Looking good, now the tricky bit, take a stiff brush and gently remove some of the excess until you get a reasonable even coating all over, this is a complete trial and error proceedure as you might find there will be spaces that need to be refilled, all this just for a hobby, are we mad or what, but wait till you see the finished results
