How best to remove mildew

I have some leather items in my collection with mildew on them . How best to remove this without hurting the leather ? Here is an example

I've used beeswax in the past, it wont harm the leather!...

Yes beeswax or little water with soap

Thanks for the replies . I have a Luftwaffen leather greatcoat , that also worries me . But I'll give that a try , Thanks for the help
