    I would use a soft brissled tooth brush to get the dirt of in the little spots around the head and other things and then I would take a cloth with some light oil or wd40 and give it a light rub.

    By light oil do you mean like vegtable oil or olive oil?

    I mean like wd40 the stuff that come in the spray can.

    I've heard get praise for the Ultrasonic jewellery cleaning machine which you can buy, apparently there also great for cleaning fuel injectors and Carburetors on your MV restorations.

    i think they have both a nice patina. i wouldn't touch them.

    I woudnt touch them other than with soft cloth and possibly some oil or preferably not at all.

    I would leave them exactly as they are, just my opinion.
