A little refurbishing work.

Article about: For removing rust i used oxalic acid and after that conserved with paraffin wax.

    wow very good job that helmet looks very good now i would never have thought it would come up so good

    Hi,
    Very nice refurb on the helmet, it came out very good and with very little damage. It must have an early decal it it as i think in 1943
    they ordered no decals on 42 Patt, helmets. Apart from the Police units. But looking nice well done.

    how exactly have you done this ? electrolysis maybe ? because i have a couple of pieces in a similar condition and i would very much like to have them in a better condiotion. so if you have some advices they would be gratly received.
