    What did you use for the texturing, it looks pretty good

    I got the textured finish just by using matt finish paint and adjusting the paint/air mix until i got the desired finish.

    It worked out quite well, your obviously used to air brushing techniques

    i used a small gravity fed gun normally used for things like door shuts on cars or small panel spray jobs. It was a first attempt at doing a helmet or anything smaller than a vw camper. Just was disappointed with the helmet i brought as it turned out to be a bad repaint, so thought i would try having a go myself to salvage a bad job.

    Thanks for that, it's good to have positive comments on my first attempt , as was not sure to tackle it or not, glad i did now. What do you think to adding a tri colour.

    Looks good mate, and I like that chinstrap you have there

    I wouldn't add a tricolour, it would be much more authentic without for this M40.

    Its the chin strap that makes it i reckon.
