ok i started on the outside it is a much darker grey but looks good
is a decal varnished or just paint??

The decal is a transfer print. This will come off with the stripper unless you are ULTRA carefull. Allow the stripper just a few seconds to work, then wash it off quickly or it will take the decal off!
