From what I can see the leather looks just fine. Don't do anything to it.

This is also the advice i have gotten so far. The leather feels paper like though. A little stiff.

From the photos that I have seen this is an excellent looking helmet with an excellent looking liner.
If you start putting stuff onto it you will more than likely discolour it & alter the general appearance.
There is an old saying -"If it aint broke, don't fix it!"
